Who are Baptists?
Paul, in his letter to Timothy, made God’s plan very clear: “God will have all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of truth.” (1 Timothy 2:4).

The desire to know the truth is what separates the Baptists from others. Everything that we believe is based on the only foundation that is reliable: God’s Word. If God’s Word is truly God’s Word, (and we believe it is), then we really don’t need anything else because our hope rests in the fact that God cannot lie.

Everything that is taught comes directly out of the Bible. No other book or tradition is needed because God has given the promise that His Word (the Bible) will stand forever.

”The grass withereth, the flower fadeth, but the Word of our God shall stand forever.” (Isaiah 40:8).

The doctrine of the Baptists comes from the Bible. Nothing has been changed.
